Writing, Family and More
I had stayed up so late on the 11th, that I just didn’t have the energy left in me to write on the 12th. That’s okay though, because I recruited some new writers to the fold 🙂
Grayson, 7, wrote four sentences on his own. He only asked for help to spell a couple of words. He’s telling the story of Zack, who spotted a dragon and it leads him to the “Sea of Monsters” (which he wants to clear up right now that it is not the same Sea of Monsters of Percy Jackson fame…)
Guenevere, 10, wrote a full paragraph by hand to the tune of 110 words or so. She worked independently and already has a compelling beginning with two girls who are on their way home.
Abigail, 12, wrote 400 words on her own. I haven’t seen the story, but I’m looking forward to hearing about it.
So no, I didn’t write yesterday, but very proud of the kids who are joining me in the journey.
It's a beautiful country, but you're going to miss most of it if you spend your free time in the truck stop lounge. Travel tips and pics for truckers and others.
