When a Hero Comes Home Attempt Number… Wait what?

I pretty much let the ball drop on this one. I had plans for when I would give myself time to write and even though I did give myself that time on last Saturday, I really didn’t give it to myself yesterday or the day before, even though I definitely had the time.

Sadly, this is an all-too-common trend in my activity with regard to writing and is one of the discipline items I am hoping to improve upon for the New Year. I am very happy to have gotten through as much of Jacoby Figurine as I have in December and will continue on with it this week and next month. I would like to say the next draft of it will be finished by the end of January, but I guess that will remain to be seen.

I should be getting some more work done tomorrow; tonight I spent some time with the family, my brothers and their families and my father. I had a great time and the kids were great overall. I am hoping that getting in as late as we did will mean they will sleep in some… but I know that doesn’t really happen here…

Anyway – back to writing tomorrow and hopefully I’ll have a good update to post then.

Sadly, if that was a sign of being related, we would be all related to a bunch more people. I think a lot of people end up doing “stuff” when they want to be doing other “stuff.”

Really – if you are doing chores/things that really should be done – this is still a good sign, even if it isn’t what you want to be doing. I think…
